First Movie-Shrek 3

We took Grace to see her first official movie in a theater tonight. Shrek 3. I've been wanting to take her since it came out, but wanted to wait till it came to the "cheap theater" so it wouldn't be a complete wast of money if she wouldn't watch it. Well, it's a good thing we waited. She was really good while we waited for the movie to start, eating her popcorn and drinking our pops. She sat very still on my lap for about the first 30 minutes of the movie, till she decided she wanted Daddy instead of Mommy. Sat with him for all of a minute, and back to Mommy. Then to her seat, then on the floor, then back in her seat. Then on me, for another 10 minutes or so. Then she totally lost all interest in the movie, even though we shared a bag of Reeses Pieces and tried to get her to eat some fishes. So she lasted about an hour, then we left. We praised her when we got in the car for being such a "GOOD GIRL!!!!" and we got pizza and came home. So her first theater experience wasn't a complete disaster, no major meltdowns or angry people. But I have no clue how it ended or really what happened after the first 30 mins. Guess we'll have to wait till it comes out on DVD to find out.
