Yesterday Mike had the day off and we wanted to do something fun. So we decided to make a road trip to the Columbus Zoo! I really wanted to go for the Aquarium, since it was still kinda chilly outside. We had never been to the Columbus Zoo before so we weren't sure what to expect. Well we pack up Grace and the car and head to the zoo! Luckily we had great weather and were able to see other animals because all the aquarium had was a manatee! That's it. A big monster manatee in a swimming pool with some other fishes swimming around. We were a little bit bummed! We decided to head off and see what else we could find. Ended up seeing the gorillas, kangaroos and a few other interested animals. (flying foxes that hang upside down like bats! yikes!!)
It was a good day overall, even though Grace didn't nap on the way there or on the way home. (that really makes for a LONG car ride!)
